Rechat founder and CEO Shayan Hamidi

2023: A Milestone Year for Rechat

Rechat had a breakthrough year in 2023, with landmark accomplishments in growth and product development, including the launch of Lucy, Rechat’s AI copilot, and the signing of more than 20 new brokerages. In support of this growth, Rechat enhanced its training programs and grew its global team, reinforcing  the company’s commitment to innovation and delivering an unparalleled experience for the brokerage, agents and homebuyers and sellers they serve.

“As we embark on a new year, I can’t help but reflect on the journey that brought us here,” Rechat CEO Shayan Hamidi said. “In 2023, we received high accolades from the industry and saw incredible growth on all fronts, while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. We also continued to innovate in support of our overall mission of creating a better experience by giving real estate professionals the tools they need to work more efficiently and effectively.”

“This year promises to be even more exciting as we continue to focus on advancements with Rechat’s Experience Management Platform, creating a more enjoyable and productive experience for agents and their clients,” he said.

Strategic Partnerships and Expanding Market Reach

Rechat became a Solutions Group partner with LeadingRE in August, which serves a global network of 550 market-leading real estate firms. Five of the new brokerages signed are Leading Real Estate Companies of the World member brokerages. The second half of 2023 was particularly productive for the sales team, under the leadership of new Sales Director Kellan Stephens, who joined Rechat in August. Rechat added 23 new brokerages within six months and put Rechat in the hands of more than 3,500 new agents and brokers.

Investing in People: Training and Team Growth

Rechat continued to place a strong emphasis on adoption, and its training department serves as the cornerstone to ensure members are well-equipped to leverage the platform. The training team, led by Customer Success Trainer Thomas Flinn, launched 14 new workshops in 2023. The team had more than 1,700 agents attend live workshops, and an additional 1,350+ agents utilized Rechat’s on-demand workshops, demonstrating the value Rechat brings to agents.

To support Rechat’s growth and client experience expectations, the company continued to become a people-centric remote workforce. In 2023, Rechat grew by 21% in total headcount, adding 13 new additional team members across many departments, including Sales, Engineering, and Operations. As a remote organization with a global workforce, 2023 was focused on continuing to advance Rechat’s people operations, including attracting top talent to support growth, and strengthening total rewards and perks.

“Rechat’s primary focus on the people side is to remain focused on the wellness of our team; creating a workplace that supports career growth and advancement,” said David Gulley, Rechat’s Senior Director of People. “While 2023 was a year of growth, we anticipate 2024 to position us with scalable solutions and opportunities that will allow Rechat to continue being a top-choice employer.”

Earning Industry Recognition and Pioneering Innovation

Real estate industry consultants T3 Sixty named Rechat to the 2023 Tech 200, a Top 20 Company to Watch, and T3 Sixty Executive Vice President of Technology Travis Saxton lauded Rechat’s adoption rate, ease of use and ability to reduce and cut down on disparate systems.

In late August, Hamidi took center stage at the 2023 iOi Summit Pitch Battle to introduce “Lucy,” Rechat’s AI-powered personal assistant, in a dynamic and interactive presentation to judges and a crowd of real estate investors. Rechat was selected by the National Association of Realtors® as one of 12 finalists to compete at the event in Miami.

In November, Inman named Hamidi to its list of top proptech entrepreneurs for 2023. Additionally, Inman’s tech review of Rechat in September, Technology Editor Craig Rowe wrote: “Rechat does a lot of what a lot of other apps do separately, consolidating a tech-stack for tech-savvy brokers wanting to provide a single point solution for lead nurture, brand-building, sales support and lightweight deal management.”

Looking Ahead: Anticipating Rechat’s Future in 2024

Building on a year of significant achievements, Rechat is positioned for even greater success in 2024. The coming year promises to bring continued evolution of its Experience Management Platform, as well as collaborations that will set Rechat apart in the real estate industry. With a commitment to innovation and a focus on empowering agents and brokers, Rechat is ready to lead the way in shaping the future of real estate.
